Interobserver agreement of Prostate Imaging–Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS–v2)

Abstract Background A retrospective study was conducted on 71 consecutive patients with suspected prostate cancer (PCa) a mean age of 56 years and underwent mp-MRI the at 3 Tesla MRI. Two readers recognized all prostatic lesions, each lesion had score according to Prostate Imaging–Reporting Data System version 2 (PI-RADS-v2). Purpose To evaluate interobserver agreement PI-RADS-v2 in characterization lesions using multiparametric MRI (mp-MRI) Results The overall for both zones excellent ( k = 0.81, percent 94.9%). In peripheral zone (PZ) are PI-RADS II 0.78, 83.9%), III 0.66, 91.3 %), IV 0.69, 93.5%), V 0.91, 95.7 %). transitional (TZ) I 0.98, 96%), 0.65, 88%), 0.83, 0.82, 92%). Conclusion We concluded that is reliable reproducible imaging modality detection PCa.
